Before you write

Four small things that often solve it, and always make our reply faster.

  1. Refresh the page once. A surprising number of problems clear on their own.
  2. Try another browser if you have one. It tells us where the problem lives.
  3. Copy the exact words of any message you saw, even if it looks like nonsense.
  4. Grab a screenshot, or a short recording when it is easier to show than to tell.
